Who were the main characters?
The main characters in my book are Caitlin, Rogerson, and her mother, and even though shes hardly in the book i also think cass is a main character to.

Caitlin is the main character because the book is about her relationships with the other characters. With her relationship with Rogerson their boyfriend and girlfriend, and in the book it talks about how she wants to date Rogerson to go off of Cass`s path, and that when she s with him she turns into someone different then before. Her relationship with her mother is slowly falling into the cracks because her personality is changing everyday shes with Rogerson and with her mom obsessivly watching the Lamont Whipper show to see Cass that she doesn`t even notice her change in personality or lifestyle. Caitlins relationship with her sister is described like they knew each other very well but you wouldn`t be able to be sure because Cass is gone in the beginning of the book. SO it leaves some thinking to do.

Rogerson is another main character because in the book he is dating Cailtin. In the beginning he comes off to you as mysterious and hot and dangerous, but as you get into the book Caitlin gets deeper inside him and finds out the true him. She discovers that his father is abusive and the side he never shows anyone. Then as their relationship goes farther so do the secrets. Caitlin soon discovers Rogerson takes after his father , for Rogerson becomes abusive and starts hitting Caitlin over silly mistakes (being late). In the end Rogerson gets arrested and Caitlin gets her original life back.

Caitlins mother is another main character in the book because it`s about her coping with her daughter running away, while she deals with this she forgets baout her other daughter (Caitlin) and lets her fall through the cracks. In hte end she learns that she can`t control her daughters lives, but needs to learn to accept their own decisions.

Cass is another main character because even though shes not in the book she helps the characters learn valuable lessons. She teaches Caitlin that she doesn`t have to follow in her footsteps and to do what makes her happy , no one else. She teaches her mother that if she tries to control her daughters lives she`ll end up driving them away, she teaches her to just live life and not worry. I think she was the main character because she helped through out the book.
